Creating a Church Bell Sound is Now Possible in Sylenth1
Church bells have a timeless sound that can be replicated using Sylenth1. Begin with the oscillators for a wobbly, layered sound, set voices, and add a detune. Set the amp envelope by adjusting the attack, decay, sustain, and release. Filter Magic at lowpass softens the abrasive highs and gives an edgy, aged character. Modulate the filter by setting the cutoff, adding attack, decay, sustain, and release. Then add reverb with a long decay, EQ to cut muddy lows, and gentle compression to glue it all together.
